Help us ensure that no family navigating a medical crisis with their child has to go through it alone
Inspired by One Little Boy. Built for Families Like Yours
Our mission is simple: to make sure no family facing a medical crisis with their child has to face it alone.
This nonprofit is more than a name. It’s our family’s love in action. And it’s a promise to others — that in your hardest moments, there is hope, there is help.

Malachi’s House of Hope was born from the heart of one very brave little boy — our son, Malachi. At just 5 years old, Malachi has faced more medical challenges than many experience in a lifetime. His rare and complex diagnosis includes:
• Anomalous origin of the right coronary artery
• Congenital bilateral superior vena cava
• Heterotaxy syndrome with polysplenia
• Interrupted inferior vena cava
• Junctional rhythm
• Partial anomalous pulmonary venous return (PAPVR)
Each of these conditions on its own would be difficult — together, they require constant monitoring, multiple specialists, and access to highly coordinated cardiac and surgical care.
Malachi’s condition was discovered early, and we were quickly thrown into a whirlwind of in utero diagnosis, NICU planning, emergency travel, and the heartbreaking reality of having a medically fragile child. We have spent weeks in hospitals, months away from home, and nights sleeping in cars or hospital chairs — all while trying to hold our family together.
But in the middle of it all, Malachi gives us courage. His smile lights up rooms. His resilience inspires action. And his life is a reminder that every heartbeat matters — and so does every family trying to protect it.
We are committed to supporting families like ours who are navigating the overwhelming world of complex childhood illness.
